Mr. Underhill and the Shire Lady

I'm a little Shire Lady,

living in a green valley...

I walk upon a path made of a grass alley.

Along comes Mr. Underhill smoking his pipe

and carrying his walking stick.

He nods as he stops and leans to one side,

toking on his pipe as he squints then

blows smoke rings in the air.

I giggle as the butterflies fly through

the vanishing rings, fluttering playfully about.

Then he simply says.... Have a good day Mrs. Underhill

and I say... see you at supper Mr. Underhill....and don't be late.
